The Republic of Turkey is a western Asia Eurasian country. Most of the countries land is located in the Anatolian peninsula. The rest of it is located in the Eastern Thrace which is located in the southeastern part of Europe. Basically, Turkey has 8 neighboring states to all sides. These include; Greece to the west, Bulgaria to the northwest, Syria to the southeast, Iran to the East, Azerbaijan also known as the exclave of Nakhcivan and last but not least, Armenia.
